I have just received news today that a CPC has been found on my baby's 17 1/2 week ultrasound. All other organs were checked as normal at that time. I also had the quad screening done with nothing coming up on those results. I am still pretty upset with the information I was told today. Will my baby be diagnosed with Trisomy 18? My doctor advised me not to get the amnio done because in her opinion the risk of miscarriage would be similar to the amount of risk that my baby would still have the CPC at the 24 week ultrasound that she has recommended. I must admit that I am not to fond of the idea of the amnio either. I would appreciate any feedback and guidance with this news.

Thank you.
